PitCrew supports six primary roles to manage visibility and configuration access across store locations.
Roles Available
Store Viewer Role
- Can access and view:
- Live Store Dashboard
- Service history and details
- Daily Reports in Store Insights
- Photo Stream
- Cannot configure settings or alerts
Store Admin Role
- Includes all Store Viewer Role permissions, plus:
- Access to manage and configure alerts
- Set store hours and holiday overrides
- Manage bay thresholds and configurations
- Add and edit Delay Reasons
District Viewer Role
- Automatically can access and view all Stores within the District, specifically:
- Every District Store's Live Store Dashboard
- Every District Store's Service history and details
- Every District Store's Daily Reports in Store Insights
- Every District Store's Photo Stream
- Cannot configure settings or alerts
District Admin Role
- Includes the District Viewer Role permissions, plus:
- Access to manage and configure alerts across District Stores
- Set store hours and holiday overrides across District Stores
- Manage bay thresholds and configurations across District Stores
- Add and edit Delay Reasons across District Stores
Company Viewer Role
- Automatically can access and view all Stores, specifically:
- Every Store's Live Store Dashboard
- Every Store's Service history and details
- Every Store's Daily Reports in Store Insights
- Every Store's Photo Stream
- Cannot configure settings or alerts
Company Admin Role
- Includes the Company Viewer Role permissions, plus:
- Access to manage and configure alerts at all Stores
- Set store hours and holiday overrides at all Stores
- Manage bay thresholds and configurations at all Stores
- Add and edit Delay Reasons for all Stores
Recommendation:
Assign Store Admin and Company Admin roles only to trusted users responsible for operational oversight or store setup. You can learn how to manage users and roles here.
How to Change Roles
If you hold multiple roles (e.g. Company Viewer and Store Admin), you can change your view of PitCrew by selecting another role.
To change roles:
- Click on your name in the top right corner, as shown below
- Select "Switch Role" to see what other roles are permissioned to your account
- Click on the role you want to see that view of PitCrew
