PitCrew tracks labor activity during each service to help managers and teams assess how effectively each bay is staffed.
Viewing Labor Data:
Labor Data is visible when a specific service is selected on the Recent Service page or the Live View page. This data reflects how many workers were observed in a bay during the course of a service. This is calculated after service completion, using the following metrics:
- Mean Labor: The mean number of workers present, averaged across the duration of the service (including idle time).
- For example, if 3 employees worked on a service for 10 minutes and then 1 employee worked for 10 minutes, Mean Labor would be 2 Workers.
- Maximum Labor: The highest number of workers present in the bay at one time during a service.
- Minimum Labor: The lowest number of workers observed in the bay at any time during the service duration.
Why This Matters
Labor data provides visibility into how bays are staffed during service, helping you identify inefficiencies, improve technician utilization, and make smarter staffing decisions.
